Yesterday (3/28/11), heaven gained another angel. My beloved cat Riley passed away after battling health issues the past few weeks. I did not get to see him before he was rushed to the emergency vet's office, but I am not completely saddened by that because I would rather remember him happy and purring as he was the night before. He was my best friend for ten years, and even though I know life has to run its course, it still seems surreal and unfair.

But, I know you are no longer in any pain, and you can run around and have fun with all the other loved souls in heaven.
I love you buddy, and I miss you so much more than you could possibly know ???

Coincidentally that's my dog's name, "Riley" - I am terribly sorry about your Riley though. I hope the love is resting comfortably and having a wonderful time amongst the other cats and dogs up there.

Aw, I'm sorry for your lose. But do know that Riley is probably in a better place now, death is a natural occurring thing and you're lucky that you will be able to remember him as his happy self c: x

Awww..... He's such a beautiful creature. I'm sorry for your loss but at least he'll be ok now. I know how you feel. My black rabbit was mauled by cyotes and they escaped before my dad could shoot. My rabbit died from the wounds and I never got to say goodbye.

My first dog was strangled to death by a choke chain. RIP Scratch.
