Jarylo alternatively Yaryla, Yarilo, Iarilo, Juraj, Jurij, Jarilo or Gerovit, is a Slavic god of vegetation, fertility and springtime. The only historical source that mentions Jarilo was from a German bishop who encountered pagans celebrating a festival called Gerovit).
